Antique/Classic: A vehicle kept in its original manufactured specifications, or restored as close as possible to the original specs. Vehicles with minor modifications, such as added comfort/safety features, small increases in horsepower, or engine dressing can still be considered under our "Antique/Classic" category.

Modified: A vehicle is considered "Modified" if it has substantially changed in appearance or performance. Some common modifications include big increases in horsepower(600+), an expensive custom paint job (I.e. Ghost Flames or murals), body work, etc.

Special Interest: A vehicle 14 years of age or newer.

Replica/Kit: A vehicle which is designed & built to resemble a classic (e.g., 1965 Shelby Cobra). May be factory-assembled or home-built. Usually has a fiberglass body.

Exotic: Modern classics, including rare or limited production vehicles should be placed in this category. Examples of vehicles in this category would be Ferrari, Lamborghini, Viper, Prowler, etc.

Fire truck: A collector fire truck is a vehicle which is no longer used for its original purpose but primarily used for parades and special events.

Jeep/SUV: Jeeps and Sport Utility Vehicles are acceptable if they are show quality condition and all else qualifies. We do consider all Military Jeeps.

Military: A type of vehicle that includes all land combat and transportation vehicles, which were designed for or were significantly used by military forces.

Trailers: An unpowered vehicle towed by a powered vehicle. Typically used to transport a collector vehicle.

Motorcycles: A two or three-wheeled motor vehicle, typically 20 years or older. We will consider newer or modified motorcycles as well (rates may vary).

Vintage Farm: Antique farm vehicles i.e. tractors.

Tuner: A compact car with aftermarket modifications to enhance speed, power or style.

Vehicle Worth, also known as Agreed Value, is important to collector vehicle owners because it guarantees the full insured value of the vehicle in the event of a total loss (less any applicable deductible).

Year must be 1900 or greater. A vehicle of any age will qualify for this program provided it is truly a collector vehicle and is used, maintained and stored as such.

Other than Collision, also known as Comprehensive Coverage, pays for loss or damage to an insured vehicle that is caused by theft, storm, fire, vandalism and other similar events.

Deductible percentages are of the vehicle value and not a percentage of damage to the vehicle.

Collision Coverage pays for loss or damage to an insured vehicle caused by upset or impact with another object.

As a general rule, if you drive a particular vehicle now or will drive it at any point during the policy term, you should purchase liability coverage by selecting Yes.

Excellent: Restored to current maximum professional standards of quality in every area, or perfect original condition with components operating and appearing as new.

Fine: Well-restored, or a combination of superior restoration and excellent original condition. Also, an extremely well maintained original showing very minimal wear.

Very Good: Completely operable original or older restoration showing wear. All aspects presentable and serviceable inside and out.

Good: A drivable vehicle needing no, or only minor, work to be functional.

Restorable: Needs complete restoration of body, chassis, and interior. May or may not be running, but isn’t weathered, wrecked, and/or stripped to the point of being useful only for parts.

Parts Car: May or may not be running, but is weathered, wrecked, and/or stripped to the point of being useful primarily for parts.

Enclosed & locked garage: A completely enclosed and secure private structure attached to the home. May also be a private building or barn detached from the home but on the same property.

Carport (with at least two solid walls): Is less secure as it has 2/3 walls rather than four. Carports must be located within a gated community.

Private Airplane Hanger or Trailer behind Fence: A completely enclosed structure used for vehicle/airplane storage with limited access. Trailers Cannot have wheels & must be parked within a fenced area.

Trailer (with wheels): An enclosed trailer with wheels. Must be parked within a fenced area.

Storage Unit or Rented Garage: A completely enclosed and secure private structure located off-premises. This includes storage facilities that are designed for Collector Car storage.

Describe how the vehicle’s appearance or performance has been modified (e.g. custom interior/paint, change in body structure, lifted suspension, new engine, etc.). Special features which affect the vehicle’s value (e.g. numbers matching, extremely low mileage, ‘Yenko’ Camaro, ‘Boss’ Mustang, ‘LT1’ Corvette, etc.).

Select the Same as my Mailing Address option if the vehicle is being stored at the mailing address that you’ve already provided; select Add Location to enter an alternate location.

For NJ Residents - "Limitation on Lawsuit" This option will reduce your premium slightly; however this optional type of coverage severely limits your ability to bring a lawsuit for injuries sustained in a New Jersey automobile accident.

For PA and KY Residents- "Limited Tort" This option will reduce your premium slightly; however, by choosing the Limited Tort option, you give up the ability to sue for “pain and suffering” unless the injuries suffered are considered a "serious injury" as defined in the standard automobile insurance policy in your state.
